SCREENING: A Strike and an Uprising (in Texas) @ Talom Aptzai Indigenous Film Festival

Anne Lewis’ documentary A Strike and an Uprising (in Texas) will screen at the Talom Aptzai Indigenous Film Festival, at the Guadalupe Theater in San Antonio, TX.

The film is a documentary based in the telling of two events: the San Antonio pecan shellers’ strike of 1938 and the Jobs with Justice march led by Nacogdoches cafeteria workers, groundskeepers, and housekeepers in 1987.

Time: 5:00 PM 

Running Time: 1 hour, 6 minutes.

There will be a Q&A after the screening with director Anne Lewis and associate producer Laura Varela.
